Privacy Policy — Zenhold
Last updated: 2026-08-23
The short version
Zenhold keeps all of your data on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours that your training data is sent to. We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We cannot see your data. Deleting the app deletes it.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit or sell personal data: no name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage analytics.
Data stored on your device
Your training history (session type, duration, rounds, max-hold and BOLT results, your optional rating and notes), your settings and your training plan are stored locally on your iPhone. You can export them yourself as a CSV file at any time — that file is created on your device and shared only with the app you choose.
Apple Health
If you grant permission, Zenhold writes a completed session to Apple Health as mindful minutes. This is write-only: the data goes into your own Health store on your device, it never reaches us or any third party, and we do not read your Health data. Health data is never used for advertising, marketing or any use-based data mining, and is never shared with third parties. You can revoke the permission at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
Notifications and cues
Session phase alerts and training reminders are scheduled locally on your device — there are no push servers and no push tokens. Spoken cues use Apple's on-device speech synthesis; nothing is recorded and the microphone is never used.
In-app purchases
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. To validate and restore purchases we use RevenueCat as a processor, which receives a randomly generated anonymous identifier and the purchase state of your app — no name, email or other identity data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Apple's own handling of the transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
Zenhold is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, regardless of age.
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because your data never leaves your device, you exercise these rights directly: view it in the app, export it as CSV, and erase it by deleting the app. If you contact us, we answer within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes
If a future version changes what data is processed — for example optional cloud sync — we will update this policy and note the change in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
